Shadow Days
Spend a Day the Victory Way!
Come and join us for a day-long visit in Victory style. Shadow Days
are open to any student entering grades 3-7. The
visiting student will accompany a student of his/her grade through a
full day of classes and will receive lunch in the school’s cafeteria.
(If your child is shadowing third or fourth grade, please pack one drink
and one food item for snack time.)
Shadow Days run from November through May!
Shadow Days are limited due to scheduled events, professional
days, standardized testing, or holiday breaks. The days open for shadowing
are listed below. A week’s notice is recommended for any student
who wishes to shadow at OLV. This gives us time to prepare for a
wonderful visiting experience. Shadow students are set up with one
of our school ambassadors to Spend A Day The Victory Way!
Note: If all testing and registration fees are cleared through the main
office, your child may take the admission test on the same day
he/she shadows OLV. Please inform Miss Wendy Alley that you would like testing on the same
day. Admission testing takes place at 8:00
a.m. (approximate testing time 1.5 hrs).
Arrival & Dismissal Procedures:
- A Parent/Guardian must sign their child in upon arrival and sign
their child out at dismissal through the school’s main office. - Students check in at the main office by 8:00am, and should be
picked up by 2:00 pm. (If are planning on having your child tested on
the same day, please contact Ms. Wendy Alley about admission
procedures and payments.) - At the end of your child’s shadow day, Mrs. Bree Cosgrove and Ms.
Wendy Alley are available to answer any of your questions.
To schedule a student visit, a parent/guardian must call Mrs. Bree
Cosgrove at 410.242.3688, x228 or email her at olvguidance@yahoo.com.
Mrs. Cosgrove will respond within one school day.
